Sinto-me inútil.

Despises me all those men misery and all desire of us to do nothing about. People on the streets without a minimum of dignity. Without a place for sleep. With barely have something to eat. Eating the rests that we even given to our cute puppies. Without any condition or basic hygiene. As we had came back for the middle ages.
I'm not criticizing the politicians or the big companies for their inertia about this all. I'm criticizing me, you, and everybody which had been being accommodated. Dancing and playing in front of this entire situation. We that mind anymore for so trivial scene. We pass by those people with such naturalness of a bad soap opera, sometimes even with repudiation, as if was their fault to be like that.
I learned, however, to never criticize with show some propose of solution to the problem. I don't have. I feel useless. With tied hands in front of this. I feel incompetent for don't know what to do to change this. Weak for my incapacity to start something.
The Haiti is inside our homes and we even can't see this.

  1. Up here those that are in the position to help are often smug about it, bragging about how wonderful they are. If you want to do the glamorous part, you have to be connected. It undermines the point of charity in the first place.

Are you in the area that is having the heat wave?
