Carta a Chevrolet
Como havia mencionado em um post anterior (A 3000 rpm), encaminhei hoje uma reclamação por escrito a Chevrolet referente aos problemas que venho tendo com meu carro:
"Senhores, em Novembro de 2008 adquiri um Prisma Maxx, zero, modelo 2008/2009 que com menos de 1 (um) ano veio a apresentar diversos problemas. Com três meses aproximadamente o compressor do ar-condicionado passou a fazer um barunho chiado. Até pensei que fosse a correia, ou algo semelhante, mas constatou-se ser um problema que necessitava a troca do compressor. Em julho desse ano começou com um problema relacionado ao farol juntamente com a alavanca do pisca. O farol não acendia, só o fazendo caso acionasse a seta para esquerda ou direita. Em movimento, quando acionava-se uma das setas, o farol piscava e as vezes até apagava, voltando após um novo toque na alavanca da seta. Junto a isso, no início de agosto, começou a apresentar problema de controle de rotação do motor. Ao ligar o carro ele atingia 3.000 a 4.000rpm, sem ao menos acelerar-se. Permanecia desse modo por 5 a 10 minutos para poder normalizar. Quando a rotação não estava muito alta, baixava demais fazendo o motor morrer, mesmo em movimento. Por exemplo, ao precionar a embreagem para mudança de marcha, o motor apagava. O maior problema disso era que o carro, como estava em movimento, retomava o motor como se tivesse pego "no tranco". Isso tornou-se um problema principalmente para viajar, pois fazia esse tipo de coisa na estrada. Minha queixa resume-se a dois fatos nisso tudo:
1) Demora para reposição das peças, pois não estavam disponíveis na consecionária e só chegavam com 15 dias a um mês. Para o problema da regulagem da rotação acho um período muito longo. A peça foi trocada ontem, mas foram 15 dias de espera.
2) Fiquei realmente descontente em menos de um ano, ter tido tantos problemas em um carro zero."

As I had mentioned in a past post (A 3000 rpm), I sent today a wrote complaint to the Chevrolet about the problems that I have been being with my car:
"Dear Sirs, in November 2008 I bought a Prisma Maxx, new, 2008/2009 model that with less than a year have been presenting a lot of troubles. With less then 3 months the condition air compressor started to make a squeak noise. I even thought that was the belt/conveyor, or something, but was found a problem that had to change the compressor for a new one. In July of this year it started a problem related to the lights and the side lights lever. The front lights just didn't turn on. To turn it on I need to pull the lever up or down. With the car moving, when I turned the lever up or down to give signal to go left or right, the front lights blinked, or even turned off, turning back after a switch the lever again. Together with this, in beginning of August, it started a problem on the engine rotation control. After turn on the car it became 3000 to 4000 rpm without push the accelerator pedal, maintaining this for 5 to 10 minutes, so then normalizing. If the engine rotation was not too high, it became too low until the engine stop, even with the car moving. For example, if I push the pedal to shift gear, the engine died. The major problem with this was that with the engine came back with the car also moving, and this is no good for the engine. This became a real problem to travel, because of doing this kind of thing on the highway. So my complain resumes into two distinct things:
1) The long time waiting a piece to replace the broken one, because they're not available at the car store, just arriving after 15 to 30 days long. This time, for the engine rotation problem is very long. I change the piece yesterday and was about 15 days waiting.
2) I'm really unhappy with a car that is new, starting to give me those problems with less then a year of use."

Good luck. Do you have a warranty? Is there a so called "lemon law" that requires them to fix it?
