A 3000 rpm
Não faz um ano que comprei um Prisma, da Chevrolet, zero, apesar de vários colegas que também tinham não recomendarem a compra (sou teimoso). Não posso chamar de decepção, pois isso ocorre quando você não espera e eu sabia que o consumo alto era um fato do carro. Como esperança funciona em Pilha, primeira a entrar e última a sair, senti na pele (no bolso) o maravilhoso consumo do Prisma. Hoje, com muito boa vontade, ele faz 6 Km/L na cidade (com álcool). Com gasolina não muda muito, faz uns 6,5 ou 7 Km/L. Isso foi de cara, nem esperou dois meses. Tive alguns pequenos problemas nesse intervalo de tempo, como no compressor do ar-condicionado, que quando ligava o carro ele chiava parecendo uma lula cósmica cantando seu acasalamento. Pensei que era inclusive a correia. O melhor, porém, vem acontecendo de dois meses pra cá. No final de Julho ele começou com um negócio estranho de não querer ligar os faróis. Para isso eu tinha que acionar a seta - para esquerda ou direita - ai ele ligava. Mágico não? Na estrada ele fazia melhor. Quando eu pisava na embreagem para trocar a marcha, ele morria! Seria o auge se eu descobrisse isso durante uma ultrapassagem... E pra fechar com chave de ouro, nas últimas duas semanas, ao ligar o carro, a rotação vai pra 3000 rpm e as vezes 4000 rpm - já chegou a 4500. Show de bola! Pra vocês terem uma idéia do que é isso, se eu simplesmente não pisar no acelerador ele anda entre 80 e 120 km/h. Só "normaliza" depois de uns 5 a 10 minutos. Enquanto isso fico circulando nas ruas com o carro como se quisesse fazer um pega com todo mundo na pista. Ultimamente eu tenho saído de casa com um saco de papel na cabeça. Levei o carro a consecionária e estou aguardando agora a peça chegar para poder trocá-la. Elas vem pelas montanhas... Ela vem. Vou também enviar um e-mail para o fabricante. Não acho normal um carro zero, com menos de um ano de uso, vir a apresentar estes problemas. Esses tipos de e-mail, ao fabricante, normalmente surtem algum efeito - além do desabafo em si!

I can't call it as a deception, because deception is when you don't expect something wrong, and I knew about the high fuel consumption. As hope works in stack, first in last out, I felt on my own skin (in fact, my pockets) the wonderful Prisma fuel consumption! Nowadays with a very pleasant way it does 6 Km/L at city (with alcohol). With gasoline it doesn't change too much, does 6,5 to 7,0 Km/L. That happened not even 2 months after I had bought. After this I had some other little problems like one on the air-conditioner compressor. After I turn on the car it starts a squeak noise like a cosmic squid singing some mating song! I thought that it was the belt. But the best thing has being happening from two weeks to now. At the end of July it started with a strange thing that was don't turn on the lights. To do this I had to turn on the right-left light sign first. Magic doesn't it? On the higway was even better. When push the pedal to shift transmission, the engine simply dies! Would be great to discover it during some car passing. To close it with a golden key, during the last two weeks, after turn on the car, the engine rotation goes to 3000rpm, sometimes 4000rpm - It got 4500 once. Wonderful! Just to give you an idea, if I don't push the accelerator it gets 80 to 120 km/h (about 50 to 75 miles/h). It just "normalizes" after 5 to 10 minutes. While this I'm going driving like if I wanting to race against everybody on the street. Lately I have been going out with a paper bag over my face. I brought the car to the dealer and now I'm waiting the new piece to can change and fix the problem. And it's coming by the mountains... It comes. I also will send a mail to the car manufacturer telling about all my troubles. I don't find natural a car, zero, new, with less then one year of use, start to show me all those troubles. Normally this kind of mail, to the manufacturer, brings some result - besides the complaining.

I bought( well, actually my mother bought because she did not want to teach me standard transmission before I got my license)a 2003 ford focus (used) from a dealer who thinks that God really will come after him if he sells someone a lemon(bad car)as anything but scrap metal. As you can see, I am the most fortunate of car owners.
