March, 02 and 03 of 2024 - Weekend

We traveled to Recife. Had lunch with my parents, spent the afternoon with my father, and in the evening, we went to Anaílson's house in Aldeia.

I didn't like the route that the GPS indicated to get to Anaílson's house... Estrada dos Macacos. A rough road, practically one-way (even there were cars on both ways), and you pray your car won't let you down there...

First, having to go through this awful tunnel that only allows one direction, although traffic can come in both directions 🤦

Then, arriving at their house, the GPS tells me to make a highly unnecessary roundabout (Blue) that I had to turn back from, because there was a likely mud pit, and I didn't want to start the night having to get the car out of a mud hole! The path ahead (Green) was actually closer and easier. I didn't understand Waze's logic here...

We didn't stay up as late as when they came to our house. I think we went to bed around 2:00 at the latest.

The next day, I watched Code 8 - Renegades Parts I and II with Anaílson, we had a stew that Almíria made for lunch, and I received this cool bracelet from their daughter, Clara!

We returned to the apartment at Reserva São Lourenço because we were tired, and the way to my parents' house to pick up Simba was an hour away... To Reserva, it was only 30 minutes.
