  My Teams bugged with a black suit covering almost the entire application.


I gave my IP to Abdul to re-establish my VPN with Egypt.. 


The problem is that he asked for a static IP. I explained that to get a static IP, I would have to contact my internet provider and change my billing plan, paying extra for it. I also only found the offer of static IPs for business plans.

I also questioned if I would have to arrange this for all the locations from where I access/work (My parents' residence / Residence in São Lourenço / Office in Recife / etc.) and that it would be unfeasible. I also explained that the IP, even though dynamic, rarely changes. He changed his mind and only asked me to provide the IPs of the locations from where I access.


I found out that I didn't confirm the appointment with the psychologist in the afternoon 🤦

I probably forgot to click on "Confirm Appointment" - in the tool - when I made the appointment. I made a new one for next Tuesday.

Antigamente meus backups de BD (Banco de Dados) se resumiam a cópias em disco que iam para HDs externos e tal. Há quase 6 meses eu venho trabalhando com uma ferramenta de backup de verdade, com biblioteca de fitas LTO, robô de mudança de fitas e toda aquela parafernália que faz com que o tempo de recuperação de um backup caia de 7 horas para 3 (ou até menos). Afinal, quando o BD para ninguém quer saber como você vai fazer para recuperá-lo, apenas querem que o faça o mais rápido possível. Bastante razoável. Essa ferramenta (HP Data Protector 6.20) consiste basicamente em um Servidor (Cell Manager) que conversa com o Cliente (local onde estão os dados que será feito backup ou onde você deseja restaurar o backup). I worked on configuring the mk_oracle plugin to update the mk_oracle.cfg file to ensure that an update to the plugin wouldn't overwrite (remove) the changes for using Custom SQL, since these configurations are done manually on the host.
