February, 10 to 14 of 2024 - Carnaval

 We met, on Saturday the 10th, with Anaílson and Almiria at Panela Cheia in Paudalho. The view is beautiful, the atmosphere is spacious and nice. The food and drinks are a bit expensive. I recommend the Costela no Bafo dish.

Later, we went to the 'espetinho' at Reserva São Lourenço where we ended the day, close to 11:00 PM and I was very pee - There was no bathroom there. Sunday, the 11th, we had lunch with my mother at Xicó. I found out that there is hardly any difference between the Chambaril for two people and the flagship, for 4 or more. Although the price difference is not great either. Around R$40.00. Still, it's not worth ordering for 4 people. The dish for two serves the same thing, practically. Monday, the 12th, we went to RioMar. We had lunch at KM Café, which is on the ground floor, at the main entrance of the mall.

 I paid R$35.00 for a couscous with eggs. They didn't have the bacon from the dish I ordered 😞 After that, we went to Freitas where we bought several knick-knacks - Mom almost didn't want to leave. My only problem was when paying for the purchases. There was only one cashier and they had some problem with processing a customer's purchases, which was taking too long... It had been 20 minutes and the line wasn't moving. Then a new cashier opened that served priorities (my mom), but nobody informed us either. We found out because Márcia went there to ask. Very disorganized that day.

 Then we went to Decathlon where I bought some exercise equipment, a shirt, and shorts. A total of R$260.00 which was also confusing when paying. The cashier directed me to the self-service checkouts, where I had a problem scanning one of the items (push-up support) that didn't have a barcode. It's okay, I just had to exchange it for one that did... I just don't know how they control someone who wants to take products without paying, for example, by not scanning all the products on the barcode reader.

I still had to wait for my wife and Márcia to go to C&A and Petz, to still 'dine' at Café São Braz before we could leave. It was already close to 7:00 PM... But it was a productive day. On the 13th, Tuesday, we stayed home. We only went out for lunch at Terraço, in São Lourenço. Very good prices. I recommend it. I preferred to return to João Pessoa on the 14th, Ash Wednesday. I had lunch with my parents, fixed some problems on dad's laptop, and we came back. Adriana found a damage on the Jeep. We think it was someone in the Eucalyptus Condominium parking lot maneuvering a car. Without absolute certainty, we let it go and stayed with this loss.
