Quando comprar um Fox é melhor do que um Renault ou um Peugeot
Vou trocar o meu carro / Vou trocar numa Renault / Ou... / Ou se não Num Peugeot! Parapa pa papa (Otto)
Nada contra os carros nacionais - entendam por nacionais marcas cujo existem fábricas no Brasil -, mas em questão aos modelos populares, a qualidade de uma marca importada é sensivelmente melhor. Mesmo assim nem sempre optar-se por um modelo importado é a melhor opção custo / benefício.
Minha cunhada resolveu comprar um carro e quando ela me disse que iria optar por um Fox, eu fiquei deveras indignado. Expliquei que pelo mesmo preço ela podia comprar um Renault, Peugeot ou um Citroen. Porém existem certos fatores que devem ser considerados, além da qualidade do veículo. A manutenção é um deles.
Minha cunhada mora em Arcoverde. A cidade que fica a 250Km de Recife e 130Km de Caruaru não ofereceria qualquer infraestrutura para manutenção e reposição de peças desses veículos. Ela teria que deslocar-se para Caruaru ou Recife afim de realizar qualquer serviço no veículo. Convenhamos que isso torna a coisa um pouco impraticável.
Desse modo é completamente aceitável e lógico comprar um carro cujo atendimento possa ser efetivado na sua cidade - ou o mais próximo possível dela. O Otto que fique com o Renault ou Peugeot dele. Pra outros é melhor trocar por um modelo nacional ou nem trocar. Prefiro um Opala 78 com dois carburadores nesse caso!

Nothing against the national cars - understand that national brands are those where there are factories in Brazil - the popular models I mean, but the quality of an imported brand is much better. Even that not always choose an imported model is the best when we look for cost / benefice.
My sister in law decided to buy a car and when she told me she would opt for a Fox, I was very disturbed. I explained that for the same price she could buy a Renault, Peugeot or a Citroen. But there are certain factors that should be considered, but the quality of the vehicle. Maintenance is one of them.
My sister in law lives in Arcoverde. The town, which is 250km from Recife and 130Km from Caruaru, don't provide any infrastructure for maintenance and replacement parts for imported brands. She would have to move to Recife and Caruaru order to perform any service on the vehicle. Admittedly this makes things a bit impractical.
Thus it is completely acceptable and logical to buy a car whose attendance could be effected in your city - or closest to it. Otto can keep the Renault or Peugeot for him. For others it is better to trade for a national model or not, keep your old car. I Prefer a Chevrollett 78 with two carburetors in this case!

I drive a nice American made Ford, and if it isn't snowing too hard I usually manage to get to the service place downtown.
ResponderExcluirIn the nineties the U.S. Federal Government converted about 4000 of it's postal service trucks to run strictly on alternative fuel; all of the trucks were located somewhere like New York City when the nearest filling station was in Ohio. I live within a mile of several gas stations and usually drive by at least six every day.
