E o ponte que partiu...

Perdoem a falta de posts, mas esse início de ano está sendo bem atarefado para mim... Sinceramente eu não recordo de, antes de dois ou três anos pra cá, algumas regiões serem tão castigadas pelas chuvas nos meses de Dezembro / Janeiro. Verão, praias, calor... Chuva, raios, tempestades, inundações, deslizamentos de terra, pontes arrastadas pelos rios, etc. Para muita gente o ano começou tragicamente.

Em Angra, no Rio de Janeiro, uma avalanche de lama e barro soterrou casas matando mais de 40 pessoas em plena passagem de ano. No rio Grande do Sul uma ponte foi simplesmente arrastada pela água levando junto 20 pessoas que estavam sobre ela, incluíndo o Vice-Prefeito de Agudo, uma das cidades que a ponte conectava. Ele estava sobre a ponte no momento do acidente para analisar os estragos da enchente.

Imagino Recife recebendo uma temporada de chuva assim. Uma cidade cortada por rios. A Veneza brasileira. Se apenas um dia de chuva já consegue transformar maior parte das ruas em rios, a ponte Duarte Coelho e todas as outras seriam arrastadas pelo Rio Capibaribe. O Centro do Recife ficaria isolado, ilhado. O canal da Agamenom e a avenida seriam uma coisa só. Coisa linda...

É o aquecimento global provocando aos poucos todas essas alterações climáticas. Por via das dúvidas acho que vou comprar um hoovercraft para o ano que vem... E abrir uma empresa de Ferries para transportar o povo pelas ruas!

Honestly I can't remember, about two or three years ago, some regions being so castigated by the rain at December/January. Summer, beaches, hot... And rain, storms, light bolts, floods, landslides, bridges dragged by the river, etc. For many people this year began tragically.

At Angra, Rio de Janeiro, a landslide with earth, trees and clay, covered houses killing more than 40 people on the New Year's party. At Rio Grande do Sul a bridge was simple carried by the river, taking with more than 20 people that were over the bridge at the moment, including the vice mayor of the city of Agudo, one of the cities which the bridge used to connect. He was over the bridge analyzing the damage of the flood at the moment.

I imagine Recife receiving such rain season. A city that has rivers everywhere. The Brazilian Veneza. If just one raining day can turn most of the city streets in rivers, probably the Duarte Coelho Bridge, and the others, would be drag by the Capibaribe River. The downtown would be isolated and islanded. The Agamenom Chanel and the avenue would turn into an unique thing. Beautiful thing...

It's the Global Warming little by little changing the weather. Anyway I'm thinking in buy a hovercraft next year and open a ferry business to transport people over the streets!
