Orgulho de Hull

Essa vai para os mochileiros de plantão. Um amigo meu está fazendo uma viagem pela Europa, mochileiro style, e me ligou hoje com uma dúvida sobre a melhor maneira de chegar ao norte da Inglaterra. Perguntei onde ele estava, quando me respondeu que estava em Amsterdã (bom lugar se você quiser encontrar diversão pervertida).

Primeira coisa a se querer saber: qual o seu destino? Se você estiver pretendendo ir para o Norte da Inglaterra, Escócia ou Irlanda, a melhor coisa que pode fazer é ir para Rotterdam e pegar um Ferry Boat para o Norte da Inglaterra, mais especificamente Hull. Claro, isso se você realmente quiser evitar Londres e cortar um bom caminho até a costa norte da Inglaterra.

Sairá mais barato que ir de avião, e às vezes até mais do que de trem. A viagem não é muito longa. Leva certa de uma noite. Tipo você sai às 21 da noite de um dia e chega mais ou menos as 08 da manhã seguinte. E por cerca de £70 você fará uma viagem bastante agradável, em um barco razoavelmente luxuoso, com todas as taxas e serviços pagos.

Em minha opinião é um dinheiro bem gasto, mesmo para um mochileiro. Até mesmo nós, mochileiros, temos vontade de usufruir um pouco de luxúria.

This goes to the duty backpackers. A friend of mine is doing a travel by the Europe, backpacker style, called me today with a question about the better way to goes to the North of England. I asked him where he were and he told me that was at Amsterdam (nice place if you're looking for some perverted diversion).

First thing to know: Where do you want to go? If you're looking for the North of England, Scotland or Ireland, the better thing to do is going to Rotterdam to take a ferry boat to the North of England, specifically Hull. Sure, this if you're really looking for avoid London and take a very short way to the north coast of England.

It'll be cheaper than to take a fly, and even sometimes cheaper than a train. The trip is not so long. It takes about one night. Something like go out at 21 o'clock from one day, arriving at 8 o'clock of the next morning. And for something about £70 you'll have a pleasant travel, into a reasonable luxury boat, with all taxes and services paid.

In my opinion it's well spent money, even for backpackers. We, backpackers, also desire to prove some luxury stuff sometimes =P
