Saga da Casa Própria - Parte VI The Bike Work Project

Tive novos problemas com o imóvel que estava para comprar. O da Rua Joseph Tourton. A dona aparentemente desapareceu. Faltava uma documentação dela, só que o corretor não consegue mais falar com a mesma. A última notícia que tive dela foi que estava na África do Sul. Talvez tenha sido comida por algum tubarão branco.
O fato é que tive que voltar a procurar meu imóvel. Passamos mais uns 2 meses na busca e encontramos um primeiro andar no Rosarinho por um bom preço. Eu sei, primeiro andar também não era o que eu queria, mas o local é bem ventilado, não parece ser tumultuado e o preço estava ótimo para o tamanho dele: 100m2.
Chegamos a pensar que esse também daria errado, pois já havia outra promessa de venda para o mesmo na nossa frente, mas o universo conspirou e deu errado a outra venda. A coisa começou a andar bem agora. Já dei uma entrada de R$10.000. Ou seja, quem desistir agora, perde dinheiro. O bom disso tudo é que a localização do imóvel vai permitir que eu retome meu projeto Go To Work By Bike ).

I had new problems with the bought of the new apartment, the one at Joseph Tourton Street. The owner apparently disappeared! That was missing only one part of her documents, but the estate agent didn't find her anymore. The last notice that we had about her, was that she went at South Africa. Maybe diving with the sharks :P
The fact is that we had to went back at my search for a new home. We spent two months searching and finally found a first floor apartment at Rosarinho for a nice price. I know, I also didn't want a first floor, but the place is well ventilated, doesn't seem to be noise and the price was good for its size: about 100m2 (about 1076.5 feet2).
We almost found that this might also got wrong because was promised to another buyer, but the universe conspired and something went wrong to the other person. We bought the apartment! I already gave $10.000 as a kind of signal, meaning that if someone give up now, will lose money.
The other good thing of this, is that I'll can return to my Go to Work By Bike Project

Semana passada havia comentado a respeito da divulgação de CPFs  em diversas mídias e sites e os problemas que isso pode trazer para o cidadão portador daquela identidade. Ontem foi publicado um edital de notificação no jornal publicando uma lista de xexeiros e seus respectivos CPFs! Lá, escancarado pra todo mundo ver! Volto a sugerir que para divulgação de editais ou listas, a omissão dos dígitos centrais do CPF garantiriam a identificação do cidadão, preservando a divulgação para uso ilícito. Data Protector Cannot connect to the SCM (Service Control Manager)

Antigamente meus backups de BD (Banco de Dados) se resumiam a cópias em disco que iam para HDs externos e tal. Há quase 6 meses eu venho trabalhando com uma ferramenta de backup de verdade, com biblioteca de fitas LTO, robô de mudança de fitas e toda aquela parafernália que faz com que o tempo de recuperação de um backup caia de 7 horas para 3 (ou até menos). Afinal, quando o BD para ninguém quer saber como você vai fazer para recuperá-lo, apenas querem que o faça o mais rápido possível. Bastante razoável. Essa ferramenta (HP Data Protector 6.20) consiste basicamente em um Servidor (Cell Manager) que conversa com o Cliente (local onde estão os dados que será feito backup ou onde você deseja restaurar o backup).
