A Saga da Casa Própria V: Texturas

Voltando ao assunto da casa própria, visitamos há algum tempo (coisa de três meses atrás) um imóvel na Rua Joseph Tourton que atualmente é o provável escolhido para compra. Já assinamos o contrato de pré-compra e o crédito inclusive já foi aprovado pela Caixa, mas segundo o corretor ainda falta ser feita a avaliação do imóvel pelo banco. Confesso que isso vem levando mais tempo do que deveria, mas por outro lado vou angariando fundos emergenciais enquanto não tenho um retorno. O apartamento não é tão grande quanto o da Boa Vista, mas é bem mais novo. Relativamente novo com 9 anos de construído. O quarto de casal é algo no estilo Gulliver - claro que o estilo seria dos pequeninos. Porém isso é relevante. A parte mais esquisita do imóvel é a cozinha. Algo nos diz que ela foi meio que "emendada" com a área de serviços. Ficou tudo num único vão. Convenhamos que é meio estranho ficar cozinhando e olhando a cueca pendurada no varal. Fora que as roupas vão ficar com inhaca de gordura. Então primeiro ponto a ser reformado: Colocar uma parede dividindo a cozinha e a área de serviços. Foi ai que veio a dúvida: Pintura... Gosto daquelas paredes com texturas estilosas, que dão a impressão de terem falhas, como pequenas cavidades, bolhas, ranhuras, etc. Porém o efeito não é tão simples de se fazer. Fui a uma loja agora na hora do almoço e vi que não tem uma Receita de Bolo para a coisa não. Cada textura tem um kit próprio de espátulas, brochas, etc. E o acabamento é manual mesmo. Trabalho braçal. Gostaria de levantar uma parede com esse tipo de textura. Infelizmente o apartamento foi todo pintado recentemente e seria uma pena remassar e repintar tudo (além de gastar desnecessariamente) por puro capricho. Ficaria estranha somente a paredinha da cozinha / área de serviço com essa textura?

Getting back to the proper home topic. We had visited (about three months ago) a building at Joseph Tourton Street, which will be probably the chosen one to be bought. We even had signed the pre buy contract and my loan credit is already approved by the bank. But according to the vendor the bank analyst still needs to evaluate the building value. I confess that this is taking more time than it should, but in the other hand I'm getting this extra time to joint more money to my reserve found.
The apartment is not as big as the first one, at Boa Vista, but is newer. Only 9 years old. The couple room is very small. Something in Gulliver style - sure, the small people style. Indeed it's not relevant. The freak part of the building is the kitchen. Something tells me that the past owner made the kitchen and the laundering one only thing. All together.

That's when a question came to me: The paint... I like those style textures on the wall, like rustic, leaves, and many other effects. The problem is that it's not so simple to do as I imagined. I went in a paint store after my lunch to find that each texture has its own tools kit, with drill, spatula proper to each texture. The effect is made by yourself, using your own creativity. I would like to put a wall with this kind of paint (a texture). Unfortunately the apartment was already painted and would be a pity repaints all that and would be unnecessary money expend. Would be too strange only the kitchen/laundry wall with a texture?
