Cuba libre del OEA... Pero nunca del Fidel!!!!


A OEA liberou Cuba do embargo feito a 47 anos. Lembro quando eu era criança, de toda aquela história de Guerra-Fria e que Cuba era o lar do Bicho-Papão! O embargo foi imposto pelos EUA que na época suspeitava que o governo cubano guardava armas e servia como base para os países comunistas (especificamente a URSS e a China). Quem sabe... Mas foi realmente melhor que arriscar uma guerra nuclear!
O fato é que acho que enquanto Fidel "Pijamas" Castro estiver usando pijamas de pano em vez do de madeira, isso pouco vai importar. Cuba conseguiu "sobreviver" durante todo esse tempo sem precisar, ou aparentemente sem precisar, dos países capitalistas e suas maravilhas modernas. Apesar de não ser mais o presidente, tenho certeza que o governo de Cuba ainda é regido por Fidel, através do seu irmão na presidência.
Alguma coisa irá mudar com o fim desse embargo? Acho que só saberemos quando Fidel sair definitivamente de cena (e do mundo)!

The OEA had free Cuba from the politic estoppels made 47 years ago. I remember when I was a kid from all that history about the Cold-War where Cuba were the home-sweet-home of the bogeyman! The attachment was created by the USA in the time when there was a suspect that Cuba was holding weapons and had military bases of communists countries (specifically URSS and China). Who knows... But it was better then risk a nuclear war!
The fact is that while Fidel "Pajamas" Castro be still using pajama cloth besides the wood pajamas, this will really doesn't matter. Cuba has been surviving along all this time without, or apparently without, any help from the capitalists countries and their wonderful modern things. Besides he's not the Cuba's president anymore, I'm sure that it's government is still under Fidel's domain, through his brother, the actual president.
will Something change with the end of the attachment? Maybe we just discovery when Fidel definitely get over the scene (and out of the World!)

    Pode ter certeza....vai abrir as pernas bonitinho...
    Cuba sobreviveu sem as "modernidades capitalistas", mas também 95 % das pessoas vivem na miseria....Nem tudo é o mundo magico de OZ..

Semana passada havia comentado a respeito da divulgação de CPFs  em diversas mídias e sites e os problemas que isso pode trazer para o cidadão portador daquela identidade. Data Protector Cannot connect to the SCM (Service Control Manager)

Antigamente meus backups de BD (Banco de Dados) se resumiam a cópias em disco que iam para HDs externos e tal. Há quase 6 meses eu venho trabalhando com uma ferramenta de backup de verdade, com biblioteca de fitas LTO, robô de mudança de fitas e toda aquela parafernália que faz com que o tempo de recuperação de um backup caia de 7 horas para 3 (ou até menos). Afinal, quando o BD para ninguém quer saber como você vai fazer para recuperá-lo, apenas querem que o faça o mais rápido possível. Bastante razoável. Essa ferramenta (HP Data Protector 6.20) consiste basicamente em um Servidor (Cell Manager) que conversa com o Cliente (local onde estão os dados que será feito backup ou onde você deseja restaurar o backup).
